That only poses one, small problem ….. where on earth am i going to do my bookwork and dump all the spare stock, baskets and boxes that seem to multiply every time my back is turned! Recycle recycle recycle (most of) the waste – that is the easy bit. Me? Looks like I’m off into the cellar with my laptop!

We haven’t planned our next event yet, though there is something to look forward to on 29th June when we join with The Lion to celebrate National Vegetarian Week – watch this space!

You can check it out at: www.tobiateff.co.uk

So, from all of us at Wholesome Bee, we wish you a healthy and happy 2012.

The lovely hamper given by Natures Own after we moved shop has now been claimed, with the winning ticket holder a lovely local lady in Settle. However, we do still have ongoing offers on some of the best selling products such as Beta Glucan, Euro Gold and High Potency Fish Oils. I’m sure you must get fed up us preaching how good we think Nature’s Own are, but we really do believe they are a sound company offering quality supplements. We also believe that to be able to offer customers true ‘food state’ vitamins and minerals is very important. Many cheaper supplements are not ‘food state’ which means that the vitamins can be in an isolated form, or not very natural. It doesn’t take too much thinking about to realise that our bodies recognise food state (which means just what it says) and can use such supplements much easier than their cheaper counterparts! They don’t need to be taken with food or on a full stomach … they ARE food!

If you seem to catch every cold and cough that is going you could try Beta Glucan, Echinacea or Olive Leaf Extract which can all support the immune stystem. We have personal experience of what works for us, and I think we all have our own favourite! All of these products are proven to have beneficial properties, and we have offers on them all too!

The Vogel range of herbal supplements are more powerful than many people realise. We have cleared many a persistent chesty cough or head cold with Plantago. And if that doesn’t tickle your fancy, we have the Potters Cough Remover and Catarrh Mixtures which have certainly stood the test of time. Still unsure? Maybe a straight ‘manuka honey’ will hit the spot, perhaps with the juice from one of our organic lemons. Comvita are a company who specialise in quality manuka honeys up to the UMF strength 18, as well as lozenges and a good Winter Wellness range.

Don’t suffer those all-too-common winter ailments, it isn’t always necessary – call in and see if we can help!

Dorthe herself suffers from eczema and became fed up with creams and promises that said they would help, but didn’t. Now with over a hundred products on the Sedbergh Soap list, all tested on her own skin, she runs a very successful and classy business which continues to grow year by year. Nothing nasty, nothing artificial and … well, lets let Dorthe tell us herself when she comes down to see us! Watch this space for more information.
